Ear Candling

What is Ear Candling?

An ancient naturopathic technique, ear candling is a painless way to treat a variety of common problems including earwax removal, earaches, ringing in the ears, sinus and hearing problems.

How is ear candling done?

Lying on your side, a hollow ear candle is inserted through a hole in a plate specially designed to collect wax, and placed into the external ear canal. The candle is lit at the opposite end. Ear candles are made of cotton, linen or beeswax that's wound into a cone shape, soaked in wax, and then allowed to harden.

How long does ear candling take?

The procedure lasts approximately 40 minutes.
